Day-by-Day Schedule

Day 1 – Italy → Kilimanjaro
Departure from Italy to Kilimanjaro with companies such as Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, Ethiopian Airlines, KLM. Night on board.

Day 2 – Arrival Kilimanjaro → Arusha
. Reception at the airport, private transfer to Arusha with Italian speaking guide. Afternoon relaxation at the lodge.
Overnight stay: Amani Safari Lodge – DBB (dinner + breakfast)

Day 3 – Lake Manyara → Karatu
After breakfast, meet your guide and enter the Lake Manyara National Park: Resurgence-fed forests, savannahs and wetlands on the lake's edge; large colonies of baboons and guenons, elephants, giraffes, 380+ species of birds and, in season, phenicopters (Dec–Mar; migration to Lake Natron Jun–Oct). Predators present (leopards and lions “tree-climbing”). Upon completion, transfer to Karatu.
Overnight stay: Marera Valley Lodge – LDBB (lunch + dinner + breakfast)

Day 4 – Ngorongoro Crater → Serengeti
Descent into the Ngorongoro Crater: caldera 16–20 km in diameter, 600 m walls, over 25,000 large mammals; all symbolic species (except giraffes). Afternoon transfer to the Serengeti.
Overnight stay: Serengeti Pure Camp – LDBB

Day 5 – Serengeti (full day)
Morning/afternoon game drives in the Serengeti: 1.5 million wildebeests, 300.000 zebras, 500,000 Thomson's gazelles, big cats, elephants, hippos and over 400 species of birds. The open grasslands favour exceptional sightings; part of the Ngorongoro Plains and Maasai Mara ecosystem.
Overnight stay: Serengeti Pure Camp – LDBB

Day 6 – Serengeti → Ngorongoro Plains → Karatu
Last sightings exiting the park, then crossing the Ngorongoro Plains and returning to Karatu.
Overnight stay: Marera Valley Lodge – LDBB

Day 7 – Tarangire (full day)
Depart for the Tarangire National Park (2.600 km²): monumentalbaobabs, large herds of elephants, felines, antelopes, wildebeest, zebras and some 500 bird species. The Tarangire River and the Silale Swamp are the heart of life in the dry season.
Overnight stay: Tarangire Safari Lodge – LDBB

Day 8 – Tarangire → Arusha → flight
Morning game drive (depending on the operating schedule), return to Arusha, lunch in town and transfer to the airport for the return flight.

Day 9 – Arrival in Italy
