Where it is located

The Amakhala Game Reserve is located in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa, about 70 km north-east of Port Elizabeth. This private reserve covers 9,000 hectares and is renowned for offering safaris in a malaria-free environment. 

DESCRIPTION

Founded in 1999 by six families of descendants of the settlers of the 1820s, Amakhala è the result of a conservation initiative that transformed farmland into a nature reserve. Today, it offers an authentic safari experience, combining the region's rich history with the natural beauty of the African bush.
