Where is it located:

 Camp Okavango è an exclusive safari camp located on the remote island of Nxaragha, in the heart of the Okavango Delta, Botswana. This privileged location guarantees guests a unique experience in a pristine aquatic environment, offering year-round activities.

Description:

The camp has been designed to blend harmoniously with its surroundings, offering an authentic and sustainable safari experience. The main facilities include two lounge areas, a dining room, a library, a self-service bar and a souvenir shop. Elevated walkways connect these areas, offering panoramic views of the delta. Outside, two areas with outdoor fires and an infinity pool with indoor lounge offer ideal spaces for relaxation.

The Rooms:

Camp Okavango can accommodate up to 24 guests in 11 intimate safari suites and a two-bedroom family suite, each with a private bathroom. Each suite is built on raised wooden platforms under the dense vegetation of the delta. The en-suite bathrooms have double sinks, double showers and separate toilets with views. Sliding doors open onto a private open-air terrace offering splendid views of the Okavango Delta.

• Motor Boat Safari:Guided excursions through the delta's deepest canals and lagoons on aluminium boats with hard bottoms.

• Mokoro Excursions: Guided trips in mokoro, the traditional dug-out canoes, through the shallowest channels and floodplains of the delta.

• Guided Nature Walks: Hiking to the surrounding islands to track the larger species that inhabit this aquatic environment.

• Fishing: Optional fishing trips to catch species such as bream (seasonal). All fishing equipment is available at the lodge.
