Day-by-Day Itinerary

01 August – Departure from’Italy: Departure from Milano Malpensa by scheduled flight Ethiopian Airlines to Madagascar (via Addis Ababa). Processing of boarding formalities and night in the air.

August 2nd – Arrival in Nosy Be, the Island of Fragrances: Arrive in Nosy Be, famous for its plantations of ylang-ylang, spices and tropical flowers. Transfer to the hotel and accommodation in the bungalows. Free time to relax between swimming pool, tropical garden and beach. In the evening dinner and overnight.

Hotel: Loharano Hotel – Bungalow Garden (DBB) – or similar

03 August – Nosy Be → Ambanja → Ambilobe: Transfer to Hellville harbour and transfer by speedboat to Ankify. Meeting with your Italian-speaking guide and start of the tour in Northern Madagascar. The day includes: Plantations of cocoa, vanilla and spices, Navigation in traditional dugout on the Ramena River with a visit to a waterfall, Ambobaka village, known for its traditional healers. Local lunch en route. Arrival in Ambilobe in the afternoon, dinner and overnight.

04 August – Ambilobe → East Ankarana Park → Diego Suarez: Departure to the East Ankarana National Park crossing savannah, rice fields and villages. Visiting the park with certified guide Madagascar National Park (Dry tropical forest, Trails among karst formations, Nature circuits: Perte de Rivière, Tsingy Rary, suspension bridge, caves. Lunch at the “Chez Aurelien” restaurant. In the afternoon, transfer to Diego Suarez, check in at the hotel, free dinner and overnight stay.
