MANKWE TENTED RETREAT - MOREMI GAME RESERVE

Where is it located: Mankwe Tented Retreat è situated on a 365,000 hectare private concession, east of the Moremi Game Reserve, in the heart of Botswana. The retreat is located approximately 85 kilometres from Maun, acting as a gateway to the Okavango Delta, the Khwai region and the Chobe National Park.

DESCRIPTION: Mankwe, meaning "mother leopard", è a serene lodge nestled in a forest of mopane trees. The lodge offers an intimate, eco-conscious safari experience, with Meru-style tented suites elevated on wooden platforms, designed with understated elegance to blend harmoniously with the natural surroundings. Guests can relax in common areas connected by elevated walkways, enjoying quiet spaces such as the swimming pool and outdoor boma for evenings under the stars.

ROOMS: The retreat has 10 eco-friendly tented suites, each set on wooden platforms with private balconies under a canopy of mopane trees. The suites have en-suite bathrooms with double sinks and showers with panoramic views.
