A smart & proven itinerary for discovering Namibia's classics on a budget-optimised basis: straightforward routes, comfortable lodges and plenty of iconic nature between red dunes, the Atlantic coast and safaris in Etosha. 4×4 car (e.g. Toyota Hilux D/C or similar), essential roadbook and H24 assistance in Italian.

Daily Schedule

Day 1 – Italy → Namibia
Departure from Italy. Overnight flight.

Day 2 – Windhoek → Kalahari
Arrival, pick-up car 4×4 and departure for the red dunes of the Kalahari.
Stay: Anib Kalahari Lodge – Standard Room, HB.

Day 3 – Kalahari → Namib Desert
Transfer to the Sesriem/Sossusvlei area between plateaus and scenic passes.
Stay: The Elegant Desert Lodge – Standard Room, HB.

Day 4 – Namib Desert (Sossusvlei/Deadvlei)
Dune 45, Big Daddy/Big Mama, Dead Vlei and Sesriem Canyon (admission/activities; not incl.).
Stay: The Elegant Desert Lodge – HB.

Day 5 – Namib → Swakopmund (≈350 km / 4–5h)
Descent to the ocean and arrival in the “German city” between sea and desert.
Stay: Swakopmund Plaza Hotel – BB (2 nights).

Day 6 – Swakopmund (optional activities)
Suggested: sandboarding, quad biking on the dunes, Walvis Bay cruise (dolphins/otaries), Sandwich Harbour 4×4 (sea + dunes).

Days 7–8 – Swakopmund → Damaraland (≈350 km / ~5h)
Towards Damaraland: dry river beds, basalt landscapes, possible encounters with desert elephants.
Suggested activities: Twyfelfontein (UNESCO), Petrified Forest, Burnt Mountain, Organ Pipes.
Stay: Grootberg Lodge – Standard Room, HB (2 nights).

Days 9–10 – Damaraland → Etosha NP
Entrance to Etosha: self-drive safari between ponds and salt pans; lions, elephants, giraffes, rhinos.
Stay: Etosha Safari Camp – Safari Bungalow, HB (2 nights).

Day 11 – Etosha → Windhoek
Return to the capital, time for relaxation or shopping.
Stay: The Elegant Guesthouse – BB.

Day 12 – Windhoek → Italy
Car drop-off and return flight.

Day 13 – Arrival in Italy
End of services.

Note:The Cape Cross seal colony è can be visited as an excursion from Swakopmund (day 6) or as a stopover on the way to Damaralnd on day 7.
