Where is it located: The Nyala Safari Lodge è situated in the heart of the Greater Kruger, in the renowned Balule Nature Reserve. This Big 5 reserve borders the famous Kruger National Park unfenced. If you are travelling by car from Johannesburg, reckon on about a six-hour drive to the lodge. However, for those who prefer to fly, it is possible to take a flight to Hoedspruit-Eastgate Airport from O.R. Tambo and arrange transfers to the lodge through our booking office.

DESCRIPTION: The Nyala Safari Lodge offers a unique experience, nestled on the banks of the seasonal Mohlabetsi River within the Balule Nature Reserve of the Great Kruger. Its 5 bedrooms feature a distinctive thatched roof design, following the rondawel style typical of Kruger accommodation. The main area of the lodge features a viewing platform that winds along the river, offering breathtaking views and a cool ambience thanks to the surrounding majestic trees. A swimming pool and terraced area are available to enjoy the hot summer days, while the boma area offers an atmospheric spot for evenings around the campfire after the evening safari. Each chalet is tastefully furnished and offers cosy interiors, outdoor showers and panoramic views of the bushveld, pool or river.
