Okavango & Ocean

A breathtaking experience between the wonders of the Okavango Delta in Botswana and Alphonse Island, an exclusive private island in the Seychelles!  
It's the most beautiful Africa: the one made up of safaris of incomparable and incredible beauty, of evocative sunsets combined with the privacy of an island, with a unique luxury resort, surrounded by protected tropical flora and fauna and spectacular seabed. 
 
Machaba Camp è a luxury tented camp with only 8 double tents and 2 family tents, nestled in the rich Khwai Concession area, a 35000 hectare reserve in the north-eastern part of the Okavango Delta, bordering the Moremi Game Reserve. 

The camp combines the authenticity of its location with upmarket luxury tents with a vintage feel and a real focus on eco-sustainability. Hairdryers and air-conditioning are not available, and the camp consciously makes use of and relies on alternative solar power. 
The camp lighting is energy-efficient. The fact that there is no permanent plant allows the facility to renew itself every two years. 

The treatment provided is all inclusive.
 
Gamoti Plains Tent Also comprising only 10 luxury tents (8 doubles and 2 families), it overlooks the river of the same name and offers incredible sightseeing opportunities, thanks to the proximity of the river itself and excursions by Mokoro, the typical boat used to visit the Delta. This Camp also offers a service that is attentive to the ecosystem of our wonderful Planet: hairdryers and air conditioning are not present. Electricity is provided by solar panels. 

 
Alphonse Island Resort: With only 22 Beach Bungalows and 5 Beach Suites, all with spectacular views of the ocean, you will feel like the only person on a deserted island but with a very high level of service. 


The 22 Beach Bungalows of 58 square metres each, are surrounded by lush tropical vegetation just a few metres from the beach. Characterised by elegance, sobriety and privacy, as they are adequately spaced out from one another, they are equipped with an ocean view patio, double bed and a possible single bed (for a maximum occupancy of 2 adults and 1 child), outdoor shower, air conditioning, mini bar, Nespresso machine, safe. Bicycles are available for guests to explore the island.  
The 5 Beach Suites of 126sqm each are surrounded by tropical plants, just a few steps from the beach.
They feature a very spacious bedroom, with a large seating area and a spacious bathroom.

Finely decorated in Creole style with local materials in shades of white and grey, they have a bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers and a private terrace overlooking the sea.

The maximum occupancy of the Beach Suite is for 2 adults and 2 children (with the possibility of adding two single beds), air conditioning, safe, mini-bar, Nespresso machine; bicycles are available for guests to explore the island.
 
The following programme is deliberately without intercontinental flights to and from Italy in order to offer each of you maximum freedom of choice between the various airlines that connect the Italian airports with the city of Johannesburg (arrival airport). The return flight to Italy is scheduled from the island of Mahe (Seychelles).

Day 1 Johannesburg 
After clearing customs, meet your private driver and transfer to the hotel.

Stay at Michelangelo Hotel, accommodation Deluxe room, breakfast included.
Possibility of organising a possible private excursion for sightseeing depending on the arrival time of your intercontinental flight at the airport.

Day 2 Johanensburg - Maun - Machaba Camp ( Okavango)
After breakfast, meet your private driver and transfer to the airport. Direct flight to Maun. Clearance of customs formalities. Continue by private flight to Machaba Camp. This flight is operated by small aircraft that fly sightseeing and land in the airstrip adjacent to the camp. A further opportunity to begin to admire the spectacular ecosystem of the Delta from above. Treatment provided at the Camp: All inclusive

Day 8 Gomoti Plains Camp - Maun - Johannesburg
Departure from the Airstrip near the camp. Private flight to Maun. Continuation by direct flight to Johanensburg. Stay at the Intercontinental Hotel OR Tambo, accommodation in a Deluxe room, breakfast included.  
Day 9 Johannesburg - Mahe' ( Seychelles) 
After breakfast, check-in at the company check-in desk and flight to Mahe'. Disembarkation formalities and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at Eden Bleu hotel, standard room, breakfast included. 
 
Day 10 Mahe' - Alphonse Island
. After breakfast transfer to the airport . Direct flight to Alphonse Island. 

Stay at Alphonse Island Resort, treatment foreseen: full board. 
The full-board treatment includes:
