The “great classic” of Northern Tanzania in 6 days/5 nights: Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and Central Serengeti (Seronera). Groups max 6 participants for guaranteed window seats, Italian-speaking local guide, correct pace and selected lodges/camps. Safari in 4×4 Land Cruiser at exclusive group use (not shared with other travellers).

Day-by-Day Schedule

Day 1 – Arrival Kilimanjaro/Arusha → Arusha
Arrival, assistance with entry formalities, meeting with the Italian guide and transfer to Arusha.
Overnight stay: Amani Safari Lodge – DBB (dinner + breakfast)

Day 2 – Tarangire (full day) → Karatu
Safari in the Tarangire National Park (2.600 km²): monumental baobabs, large herds of elephants, felines, wildebeests and zebras; ~500 bird species. The Tarangire River and the Silale Swamp concentrate fauna in the dry season.
Overnight stay: Marera Valley Lodge (Karatu) – LDBB (lunch + dinner + breakfast)

Day 3 – Ngorongoro Crater → Central Serengeti
Descent into the caldera of Ngorongoro (diameter 16–20 km; 25,000+ large mammals) and photosafari inside it. In the late afternoon transfer to the Central Serengeti (Seronera).
Accommodation: Serengeti Pure Camp – LDBB

Day 4 – Central Serengeti (full day)
Day photosafari between grasslands and kopjes of the Seronera: lions, leopards, cheetahs, large herbivores and birdlife.
Accommodation: Serengeti Pure Camp – LDBB

Day 5 – Central Serengeti → park crossing → Karatu
Panoramic return crossing the Serengeti (game drive out) and the Ngorongoro Plains, to Karatu.
Overnight stay: Marera Valley Lodge – LDBB

Day 6 – Karatu → Arusha → flight
Scenic road descending the escarpment of the Rift with views of the Lake Manyara. Lunch in Arusha and transfer to the airport for the return flight.
