Private Guide Tour (December to March)
Targeted itinerary to experience the Great Migration in the South of the Serengeti / Ndutu area: births (calving) season between January–February, immense herds on open grasslands and intense predator activity. First classic stops at Tarangire and in Ngorongoro Crater, then Central → South Ndutu. 4×4 for exclusive use with sunroof, private guide (Italian on request, no supplement – subject to availability) and full board as per programme.

Day 1 – Italy → Kilimanjaro
Departure from Italy for Kilimanjaro with Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, Ethiopian Airlines or KLM. Night on board.
Day 2 – Arrival Kilimanjaro → Arusha
. Reception at the airport, private transfer to Arusha with Italian speaking guide. Afternoon relaxation at the lodge.
Overnight stay: Amani Safari Lodge – DBB (dinner + breakfast)
Day 3 – Tarangire (full day)
Safari in the Tarangire National Park (2.600 km²): monumental baobabs, large herds of elephants, felines, wildebeests and zebras; ≈500 bird species. The Tarangire River and the Silale Swamp concentrate fauna in the dry season.
Overnight stay: Marera Valley Lodge (Karatu) – LDBB (lunch + dinner + breakfast)
Day 4 – Ngorongoro Crater → Central Serengeti
Descent into the caldera of Ngorongoro (diameter 16–20 km; over 25,000 large mammals) and game drive inside. In the late afternoon transfer to the Central Serengeti (Seronera).
Overnight stay: Serengeti Pure Camp – LDBB
Day 5 – Central Serengeti → South/Ndutu (Migration)
Game drive in the Serengeti and route to Ndutu/Southern Serengeti where, between December and March, the Great Migration for fresh grass is concentrated: Huge herds, births and active predatory behaviour.
Overnight Stay: Ndutu Pure Camp – LDBB
Day 6 – Ndutu / Southern Serengeti (full day)
Day dedicated to Migration: open grasslands, newborn cubs, lions, cheetahs and hyenas on the move. Flexible routes between plains and acacia groves, depending on where the herds are found.
Overnight stay: Ndutu Pure Camp – LDBB
Day 7 – Serengeti South → Ngorongoro Plains → Karatu
Game drive out of the Ndutu area, then across the Ngorongoro Plains and back to Karatu.
Overnight stay: Marera Valley Lodge (Karatu) – LDBB
Day 8 – Karatu → Arusha → flight
Scenic road descending the escarpment of the Rift with views of the Lake Manyara. Lunch in Arusha and transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for the flight home.

Day 9 – Arrival in Italy

Note Migration:movements are natural and variable; staying at Ndutu/South Serengeti between December and March maximises the likelihood of; of observing herds and births (calving), but does not guarantee their exact location day by day. The visit order may vary due to weather/slope conditions. Some lunches are picnic in authorised areas. Possible similar facilities in case of non-availability.
