Travel Programme

Day 1 – Arrival in Cape Town

I arrive in Cape Town, one of the most fascinating cities in the world, nestled between ocean and mountains.

After airport formalities, meet our Italian-speaking assistant and transfer to your hotel in the heart of the city.

In the afternoon free time to start soaking up the city atmosphere or stroll along the lively V&A Waterfront.

In the evening meet your guide and transfer for a welcome dinner at the famous Gold Restaurant, an immersive experience of African cuisine, music and culture.

Day 2 – Cape Peninsula

After breakfast, depart for one of South Africa's most spectacular excursions.

Your day will take you along the legendary Cape Peninsula, taking in breathtaking views and ocean scenery.

During the tour:

• Sailing to Seal Island to observe sea lion colonies
• .
• Travel along the scenic Chapman’s Peak Drive
• Visit to Cape Point Nature Reserve
• Funicular to the viewing lighthouse
• Close encounter with African penguins at Boulders Beach

Local restaurant lunch included.

Return in the afternoon and evening free.

Day 3 – Cape Town and Winelands

A full day dedicated to discovering Cape Town and the famous wine regions

Ride up Table Mountain (weather permitting) for spectacular views of the city and ocean.

Further on with a visit to the colourful Bo-Kaap district and transfer to the Winelands, amidst vineyards and mountains.

Here you will have an authentic experience with:

• lunch at an atmospheric wine estate

Return in the afternoon and evening free.

Day 4 – Cape Town

Day available for individual activities.

You can:

• visit Robben Island
• shopping at the Waterfront
• exploring beaches and local markets

Alternatively, you can participate in an optional excursion to Hermanus, one of the world's best destinations for whale watching, with a boat trip and wine tasting in the Hemel-en-Aarde valley.

In the evening included dinner at the hotel.

Day 5 – Cape Town → Hoedspruit

After breakfast transfer to the airport and flight to Hoedspruit (not included).

At arrival, meet your guide and transfer to the lodge nestled in the savannah of the Greater Kruger.

Accommodation at the Braai Safari Lodge, surrounded by vegetation and local wildlife.

In the afternoon, first safari in an open 4x4 vehicle, for initial contact with African wildlife.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6 – Kruger National Park

Wake up at dawn for a full day's safari in the world-famous Kruger National Park, one of the world's most important reserves.

Aboard an open vehicle and accompanied by an expert guide, you will go in search of the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo.

During the day:

• breakfast stop

• packed lunch in the park

Return to the lodge in the afternoon, dinner and relaxation.

Day 7 – Panorama Route

After breakfast, depart for the spectacular Panorama Route, one of the most scenic roads in South Africa.

Scheduled visits:

• Three Rondavels
• Bourke’s Luck Potholes
• cascades and viewpoints
• Graskop Gorge Lift with forest walk

Lunch included during the hike.

Return to the lodge in the afternoon.

Day 8 – Kruger National Park

Second day of safari in the Kruger, to increase sighting opportunities and experience the savannah at different times of the day.

Each safari is unique and offers different encounters with African wildlife.

Return to the lodge in the afternoon, dinner and overnight.

Day 9 – Return

After breakfast transfer to the airport in Hoedspruit for the flight to Johannesburg (not included).
