FAQ – Frequently asked questions 

• Where to see whales in KZN? Coastal stretch between St Lucia, Cape Vidal and Sodwana Bay (Jun–Nov, Peak Set–Oct).
• When can you see sea turtles? Nesting November–February in the far north (regulated access with licensed guides).
• Does KZN è suitable for families?Sì: many equipped beaches, soft activities at iSimangaliso, safaris in areas with low or no malaria risk in southern KZN.
• Better KZN or Kruger for safari?  The KZN (Hluhluwe-iMfolozi) è excellent and logistically with the coast; the Greater Kruger has often higher wildlife concentrations. Possible combined.

• Does 4x4s require?No for most of the itinerary; Sani Pass requires 4x4s and licensed operators.
